To Our Clients and the Nonprofit Community

We're Here For You

A Message from Arreva CEO and Co-founder, David Blyer and Chairman and Co-founder, Susan Packard Orr

We are here for YOU.

Read below for a few ideas you can act on immediately during this time of crisis.

Our team collectively has decades of understanding and experience across the nonprofit space.  That genuine understanding of and passion for nonprofits is what’s behind our purpose-built technology and what drives us in helping to further the missions of nonprofit organizations.

We understand how important it is for you to urgently share with your supporters how this crisis is impacting your organization and those you serve, while providing clear and easy ways for them to support your organization and your mission.

Some suggestions:

1. Build a list of your board members, donors, volunteers and other supporters that you can enlist to help you in a multitude of ways
  • Ask them for their support with specific ways that they can help, through a gift or even by hosting a personal fundraising campaign with Peer-to-Peer Fundraising.  Setup virtual town hall meetings with this circle to gather and share ideas.

2. Personal outreach to donors

  • Share with them how this crisis is affecting your organization.  Tell them what you need.  Ask about their well-being. Let them know your organization appreciates their loyalty and how your organization is continuing with your cause. Ask for their input on ways they would like to support your organization throughout this crisis. Make personal phone calls to each of your donors and volunteers.  You can utilize cell phone-based mobile giving.  We have the ability to help you set up an online auction and mobile bidding with one of our strategic partners.
  • Use Text2Fund that links to your donation page. Call us or email us to get this set up quickly. We also have the ability to help with our strategic partnership to set you up with online auctions, text2fund, and text-based bidding.

3. Be fully transparent with Your ask

  • Involve all constituents to strategize how your organization will adapt to these circumstances. How can your organization evolve to operate in a time when human contact is restricted? Offer virtual volunteering opportunities.

4. Host a virtual event

  • If events are a core component of your fundraising efforts, then, by all means, don’t cancel your events. Put on a star-studded virtual event and be creative in your approach. In these uncharted times, there are event options that you may not have considered before.

5. Add a virtual auction or Text2Fund “ask” to your virtual annual gala.

  • Call us to discuss ideas on virtual events and how others have been successful, even just this past weekend, on raising money through virtual auctions.

6. Leverage technology to raise money virtually

  • Tell your story on the impact this crisis is having on your organization and the mission, ask for support and make it easy to give through online donations, peer-to-peer fundraising, mobile bidding, and text2fund.
  • Be creative in your approach e.g. we’ve seen successful campaigns combining peer-to-peer fundraising with recurring giving that ask donors to give $20 a month through 2020 or personal fundraisers around a specific need.
  • We have the ability, through strategic partnerships, to help set you up with online auctions, text2fund, and text-based bidding.

We look forward to connecting with you.  In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to request a personal consultation with someone from our team by filling out the form on this page.

Stay safe and healthy.
